A manual boost controller is an easy way to get a large increase in power out of your turbocharged vehicle. This unit can improve turbo response by up to 800 RPM sooner in the rev range - this means you can increase the performance and response of your engine/turbo.
 
By adding this boost controller, you can also adjust the boost level of your turbo (without even needing to upgrade the turbine, injectors and ECU). Stable boost increases above the wastegate spring pressure of 200%+ for internal wastegate and 100%+ for external wastegates are achievable using these boost controllers.

The MVR44 is the latest wastegate and is a direct replacement for the now discontinued V44 44mm wastegate.
This is the first wastegate in their range to feature water cooling capability.
It has a water inlet and outlet fitting that circulates a small amount of coolant through the actuator to keep temperatures under control in extreme applications such as road racing.
