The gear in your transfer case actuator wears out and causes the symptoms noted above.
 
An actuator motor is attached to the transfer case, and inside it is a low-quality plastic gear that is rotated by a metal worm gear. Over time, the nylon wears and strips, causing the gear not to rotate; this leads to the symptoms noted above. BMW does not supply this part as a replacement; they will provide a complete replacement motor at a huge cost, which will fail again due to the nylon component.
 
Install our improved design drive gears and restore your actuator. Replace only the defective nylon gear component with our replacement gear, made from plastic, a much better quality part than OEM. This will fix the problem and save the cost of a new actuator which will simply fail again. High-quality, precision-made replacement part from an improved material.

The gear in your transfer case actuator wears out and causes the symptoms noted above.
 
An actuator motor is attached to the transfer case; inside it there is a poor quality plastic gear that is rotated by a metal worm gear. Over time, the nylon wears and strips, causing the gear not to rotate; this leads to the symptoms noted above. BMW does not supply this part as a replacement, they will provide a complete replacement motor at a huge cost, which will however fail again due to the nylon element.
 
Install our improved actuator gear design and restore your actuator. Replace only the defective nylon gear component with our replacement gear, made of plastic, a much better quality part than OEM. This will fix the problem and save the cost of a new actuator, which will simply fail again. High quality, precision manufactured replacement part made from improved material.
